Has any fighter ever tried to drill some elbows into the outer forearm, wrists, or elbow of his opponent to break that grip? I would imagine repeated elbows to your own elbow joint would be just as bothersome as knees to the butt in the short term. Long term, beating the legs will slow an opponent, but it would be hard to maintain that grip with someone drilling right into that tendon on your elbow…?

I feel like Dodson used to be much more aggressive than this.
