Looks like Art of War continues to improve.

it looks like AOW 12 will be reffed by Big John McCarthy and Japanese Reffing sensation Yuji Shimada.

AOW uses the pride rules of soccer kicks, knees to a downed opponent, yellow cards...but also includes the UFC's Elbows.

fights are 2 rounds.

1st round 10 mins.
2nd round 5 mins.

AOW is now being promoted by the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. (Same guy who does ADCC)

It has been rumored they have an ESPN Asia broadcasting deal in the works as well.

Next event will have;

Ricardo Liborio
Jeremy Horn
Tim Sylvia
Fabricio Werdum
Josh Barnett
and
Babalu in attendance.

...I wonder how long it will be until a couple of those guys sign a contract to fight with AOW.

K-1 max veteran Ole Laursen has already fought for them.

This show has several chinese Olympic wrestlers, as well as World Champion Sanda/San Shaou fighters already with established 6-0, 7-0,8-0 professional records.

ttt for the best refs eva!

 awesom.

Actually, that would be His Highness' brother Tahnoon who runs ADCC :)

Sounds like it has all the makings of a great event.  Hope it goes well.  WIll this be available for viewing here in the U.S.?

It's one of their future goals to be broadcasted in the U.S. At the moment, Art of War 12 will be available online via a stream.

Thanks.  Look forward to seeing Art of War grow.

Interesting screen name, by the way.

Long story but has nothing to do with Tokyo, haha.

Probably an interesting story.  Anything to do w/"the way of limted express trains" or "the way of grading or ranking", lol?

Royler Gracie, Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro and Demian Maia confirmed.

Also, commentary duties will be handled by Michael Buffer.

TTT!

you left out the most interesting rule of all:  there are no decisions.

Any fight that goes the distance is ruled a draw.
