This is cool, but I'd have a suggestion. If it's just striking... Go up to maybe 6 ounce gloves because they need to cover the fingers so they can't eye poke. They aren't grappling... Just striking. Keep the gloves small, but make it where fingers can't slip out Phone Post 3.0

brahmabull81 - I think that would be an ideal destination for kickboxers that want to get into MMA. Getting used to those baby gloves and the range of the cage before even entering MMA would help these guys alter their styles so they instinctually stop relying so much on giant pillows blocking most of the shots for them.
I know 8oz isn't as small as 4 oz, but it's hardly a giant pillow Phone Post 3.0

I like the 4ounce but I agree they do need to cover the fingers up Phone Post

DaveAP - Keen to see this live since recently finding out about it on joes podcast/fight companion

I think it's held in brissy or on the gold coast.
I'm defs gonna go see it live, the crowds seem pretty good too Phone Post

Yeah I don't like the little gloves. It then looks like watered down MMA. You gotta differentiate somehow. Use 8oz gloves, smaller cage, and I think you're fine.

Or stick with how it's always been. Nothing wrong with that. lion's fights has been amazing so, I guess I'm not a huge fan of this idea.

Love John Wayne Parr though Phone Post 3.0
