Jon Bones Jones @ HeavyWeight

I really want to see this happen in the future.  When he comes back i hope he just goes to HW he already beat DC at LHW idc about that fight again.

The top 10 fighters at HW are:

Chapion: Stipe Miocic
1. Fabricio Werdum
2. Cain Velasquez
3. Alistair Overeem
4. JDS
5. Ben Rothwell
6. Mark Hunt
7. Andrie Arlovski
8. Derrick Lewis
9. Travis Browne
10. Stefan Struve

Starting from the bottom up i think Jon Jones handles Struve pretty easily.  I think he beats Travis Browne but decision.  He would take Derrick Lewis down and submit him in the third round he's a big guy so he looks like he might gas out.  Andrie Arlovski JBJ would TKO.  JBJ would take Mark Hunt and submit him or just win a decision like Brock Lesnar did.  Ben Rothwell would be another decision win or a late fight TKO win like Cain did to him back in the day.

Now we get to the tougher fights.  JDS back in the day would have fucked Jones up but i don't think he's the same fighter as he once was so i'd go with Jones via decision or late fight TKO.  As for Alistair Overeem it depends on which figher we see that night.  The bloated and out of shape Overeem gets wrecked and TKO'd mid fight, but if it's the Overeem that destroyed Roy Nelson and JDS, then he might be able to catch JBJ in the striking.  That fight is a toss up.

Now for the cream of the crop fighters.  Today, the way Cain Velasquez seems to be, i think JBJ handles him pretty easily.  Cain is too broken too injured and probably wouldn't even make it to fight night to be honest.  But if he did, Jones is bigger stronger and better i think he just simply outclasses him in every way possible other than Cardio.  Fabricio Werdum is probably the most challenging of the HW's.  His striking is vastly improved and of course his BJJ is unmatched at HW.  I think JBJ would be wise to keep the fight standing and outlast him for all 3 rounds by battering him up in the striking department and pushing him against the cage and with dirty boxing.  As for the champion Stipe Miocic, i think as good as he is right now, he doesn't offer much to JBJ.  I think styles wise this is one of the easier fights for JBJ at HW as he would just have to take him down and TKO or submit him.

I'm not sure if we'll ever see this happen but i certainly hope it happens before Jones is past his prime!

He said he won't go to heavyweight. Why should he? 205 is a very easy cut for him.

I think a lot of HWs will give Jones problems.  Look at his fights with guys of near equal reach.

EddiePain420 -

i believe 100% jon would beat cain and everyone numbered 5-10 on that list.

i think stipe, jds, and werdum might be able to beat him. overeem is a toss up as always.

Agreed

Jones' reach is 84.5. Aside from Struve, I believe the longest reach on the list above is 80, which is about an inch less than Gustafsson. Not saying your point isn't a good one, because it will be a factor, but the height/reach difference between HW and LHW isn't huge. The weight difference is, but everybody who fights Jones comments about how freakishly strong he is.

His big disadvantage at hw isn't his size, his height [6'4"] is above average, his reach is unmached [same as Struve i think].  It's his punching power that's not up to hw standards. Most of the damage he inflicts are by elbows. His wrestling also won't be as good at hw. His hand speed is average also. His unique frame gives him a giant advantage at 205 but most of that advantage goes away at hw. He still has that great chin but any hw chin can be cracked. He's capable of winning at hw but will be much more sucsespictible to getting ko'd. I could see guys like Arloski giving him issues, Overeem, Werdum, Stipe also. Wonder how training with Reem goes, Reem usually punishes sparring partners.

OP regularly pleasures himself to Bones' highlights.

GUMBY ? - OP regularly pleasures himself to Bones' highlights.

I was never a fan of his until he returned and was about to fight DC again and he was talking mad shit but you could tell it was finally the real Jon Jones not the fake good guy act he use to put on before.

So  basically I didn't  like him until he embraced the heel role
