Imagine if stuff like this happened in other sports at this rate. Mma training needs a complete overhaul. More guys with sports medicine degrees asap.

Surely that is why there's more injuries lately, it likely has nothing to do with the UFC adding insurance which means fighters no longer have to fight through bad injuries just to get the show money to fix that injury.

Too bad if true. Simpson was a really bad style match up for Fitch. Fitch has had trouble with fighter who he couldn't outwrestle(GSP, Mike Pierce), and on paper anyway, he's not as good of a striker as Simpson is. I think this was the fight that would have established Simpson as a legit contender.
