Because everytime you a win championship match you win a NEW belt.
Right now DC has 2 actual belts in his possession: 1 from beating Rumble and another from beating Gustafason.
DC will receive another belt if he beats Jones. Champions don't only get 1 belt and hold on to it if they win the title... they get a brand new belt everytime they fight and defend the belt as well.
to further my point from before, Jones just brought along 1 of his 9 belts to the press conference.

From what I remember now you get the first belt when you first win it, then a second belt for your first defense, then after that if you want a belt after each win you have to pay out of pocket for it. Been a while that theyve been doing this.

U get a belt when u win one. You get a belt for each time u defend the belt. So jones has plenty of belts.
