Jon is willing to fight whoever is put in front of him with no excuses while Silva whines about friendship, not giving the guy an opportunity to make money, and opponent not being deserving, and so on when the public wants him to fight what they consider a tough fight.
Theres isnt really any tough fight for him in that division except chael.

Jones' 2011, dismantling four top 10 HWs, puts Anderson beating up lesser opponents to shame. I'm sorry but Okami hardly deserved that shot. Awesome win for Anderson but again, against lesser competition.
Jones just came from nowhere and ruined everyone. No excuses, no bitching, no whining about friendships or how he felt slanted. He just went in there like an assassin and took them all out. It was fucking amazing.

I like both but people are riding jon so hard because of what he has accomplished over the last year is certainly more impressive than what silva has... Although silva still has a more impressive highlight reel people are always going to remember what someone has just done. Human nature always looks short term...with all that said I really wish dana would make them fight and I just don't see silva winning, unless he knocked him out quick. Jones would easily take him down and pound him out by the third round. The longer the fight takes to happen the more the odds are in jbj favor and silva is just getting older...if they never fight I believe it will leave a big tarnish on his record, something critics will always point to.

I believe he would. We won't know until it happens but I have never heard an accusation of him not being willing to fight anyone yet. Of course he is going to stay in his division right now and make that cash but it would not surprise me a bit if he steps up to hw after clearing out lhw, and it would not surprise me a bit if he stepped up sooner if Dana asked him to.
