Was just looking at his record in the ufc and he's like 4-1 did he get cut or injured?!
After his loss to Mike Russow, his first in the UFC and the first of his career, he was released.
Ttt for answers
While Cole Konrad was champ he was scheduled for a bellator tournament spot I thought.
Remember his fight with Russow; saw it live (either Seattle or Portland). Looked like two overweight bulls charging each other, then they'd reset and do it again (and again). I'm sure they both had/have power, but not very fun to watch. Just saying...
John Madsen was horrible to watch. I'm sure BLAF and Silva were waiting for the first excuse to axe him.

Retired too? Who else retired?!?!?!?!?!
EddiePain420 - i thought he was a beast really, didnt he train with brock lesnar?
Indeed he did. They went to high school together I remember from a UFC countdown show.
7-1 total, 4-1 in the UFC.
Not bad at all. But I recall him not looking very technical in his fights. I could be wrong, but I think his record looks better than what he was capable of. Then again, he was cut rather soon so unfortunately we'll never really know what he was capable of. He's only 33, maybe he'll try a comeback?
