I think it also had to do with new presser setting. It was more intimate and there were no screaming fans in the back to hype them up. Also Rashad didn't have his hype man from the last presser lol
Anderson silva vs chael sonnen II will be wayyyyyyy bigger than this fight . whether they are friends or not.
They might not have as bad of blood as all the fans hope now but come fight time they're both gonna come out to destroy the other, and that's all that matters.
Regardless of who wins they'll hug it out after and throw compliments each others way and handle it with class, as respectful competitors should.
You should know this by now. Bad blood = easiest way to sell a fight, but 95% of the time the "bad blood" is squashed after they fight. Shit, even Tito and Ken were cool after their third fight. Probably the only exception to this rule would be Silva-Sonnen, but Sonnen is a one-of-a-kind showman anyway.

I agree that most "hate" is fabricated to sell interest but most fighters wait til AFTER they fight to hug it out. Wtf guys!

Dana needs to pull them aside and get them to act pissed at weigh ins. Bitterness sells. 
This press conference was probably more subdued just because they've been over all of this stuff a million times already. The weigh-in will be more indicative of where they stand, and obviously so will the fight. Someone is going to get hurt (and his name is Jon Jones).
