I was impressed with Jones taking a couple shots from Machida, but they weren't super hard punches square on the button by any means.
If Hendo could land an H-bomb or two on Jone's jaw, is that the only way Jones can be beaten by anyone in this division, or would he be able to go Rua style and just be super dazed but not unconscious?
Looks like a pretty good punch to me.

Hendo has very heavy hands but Lyoto landed because he's so quick. don't know if the h-bomb is gonna land on jones. i'd bet no. machida was the most likely to beat jones imo and i think he would've if he kept fighting like edgar vs. penn. when he stayed in range he was playing with fire.

ANYONE can be knocked out...that is just the way it is. However Dan does not have the speed or accuracy to land a hard shot on Jones. I don't see Hendo posing a threat to Jones.

Agreed. Not saying Dan couldn't land one, but Lyoto punches with more speed and precision. Dan has a granite chin though and could stand and trade with Jones much more effectively. I'd love to see this fight

orcus, that's exactly my point - Dan has a puncher's chance, which is more than almost anyone else in the division can offer. Now whether or not he can land it is debatable. My question is IF he were to land one or two of those monster shots, would we have a new champion or could Jones take them and continue on?
