After Rashad got a new opponent he was miraculously healed and no longer needed surgery. Not to mention him suddenly unwilling to fight Anderson because they talked once and were now best friends. Chael is just the latest fighter the duck has ducked.

They both pulled the friend card, and Andy wad not offered jbj for 151. Jbj refused to fight anyone other than hendo and Andy volunteered to step in in jbj's place

Seems to me if he really wanted to duck rashad that badly, it'd be alot easier to just keep the "friend card" he and rashad had already played. As opposed to saying he'd fight Rashad, "faking an injury", and then end up fighting Rashad anyway. Of course many ppl saw the "Pulling" of the card as less of Jones wanting to be competitive and fight the guy whom was next in line vs. a Betrayal/Going back on his word.

AFTER andy said he had no interest in fighting jbj because of machida and other team mates in the division, jbj said he also had no interest in fighting andy because of their friendship.
and jbj DID duck rashad... he backed out for ELECTIVE surgery, and after rashad was rescheduled to fight mr wonderful, jbj decided not to go through with the ELECTIVE surgery afterall :-\
jbj is not a fight anyone anytime kind of fighter. he wants to plan meticulously for each fight. this turns alot of fans off.

No one is questioning Jone's skill. He is one of the top fighters in the sport skill-wise. I am just pointing out that his ducking Chael wasn't an isolated incident. He has a history of ducking fighters. Based on his history you could also throw in his recent statements that he wouldn't fight Machida again.
