I don't think anyone has any illusions that Jones is smart, but this is stupid even for him. DC actually defended both titles. If you want to go down that road, it's clearly McGregor who isn't a real double champ. In fact the only reason he's a double champ is because the UFC obediently waited for him to win the LW strap before stripping him of the FW belt, which he never defended (or even intended to) in 1+ year.

You think it’s trolling? I don’t think it is. If it’s trolling, it’s a long, elaborate, detailed troll. He’s been doing this for years and even talks about DC to the media. Remember those tweets where he was telling DC to answer the phone? I think he’s obsessed.
