Looking cool? That's disrespect. Rashad gets a lot of shit for that fight, but he was following the gameplan given to him which was to let Machida attack. Winklejohn was the one who made reference to it in an interview before the fight. It proved to be the wrong strategy.

It's funny hearing Jones complaining about Machida being put on a pedestal and Winklejohn now say he would likely train Jones. Jones is the one who sounds delusional with all his talk about destiny and fights being done before they happen.

Sounds like Jones knew Shoguns Muay Thai was the key to beating the great Karate Champion all along. The fact that he can recognize stylistic breakdowns speaks volumes for this young fighter. He is going to be a killer for a looooooong time.

There is nothing wrong with saying Rashad used a wrong gameplan and didn't use his strengths which are punches mixed with takedowns. After the fight many people felt that way. But it's ridiculous to think Rashad went into to that fight with a gameplan of "looking cool". Who in the hell fights with a gameplan of "looking cool"? That just a statement to take a shot at someone. It was Winklejohn's plan of countering Machida. This is pretty obvious.
