After a year out of action because of an ankle injury, Josh Grispi will be making his return to the cage at WEC 49.

The featherweight contender announced his return on his Facebook page. Grispi (13-1 MMA, 3-0 WEC) will reportedly meet L.C. Davis (16-2 MMA, 3-0 WEC) at WEC 49.

WEC 49 takes place June 20 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Grispi is one of my favorite fighters. He's not getting nearly enough hype. He's damn good.

I think he'll be ready for the elite 3 after this fight.
