Hey guys, I didn't catch the combat sports closeout soon enough and they no longer have them in my size.
Are there any other good places to get GI's at fairly low prices? Not looking for the fancy ones with patches all over etc... just plain white, black or blue gi's that have the jiujitsu/judo strength to them. (yes I probably spelled Jiujitsu wrong as I know it as the americanized Ju-Jitsu spelling)
Will be teaching again starting tomorrow night, nervous to be back on the mats but I'm taking that step forward to attempt to continue to push through stuff. Will be helping Fred teach out here in KC. If you're in KC, shoot us MMA.tv mail.
for the money padilla and son is a fantastic gi, about $75 for that matter for any amount they are great i have 4. i also have korals, ouanos, red rooster (great gi as well), atama and wear the padialla and red roosters more than any other
I'll check those out. Thanks man
I've recently switched to Fuji gi's and they are really awesome; nice strong weave but softer than most and feel lighter. Saw a discount offered at www.grapplingstore.com and a mention of Club/Academy bulk orders.
Also, On The Mat (OTM) plain gi's are a good buy for the money.
Go with Atama Mundial #5. With the 20% off discount, they are a little more than $100 with free shipping.
Check out www.warrior-one.com
they have some nice gi's on sale. Check this thread:

single weave (KD) vs double weave (WO)
fuji. 69 bucks great quality.
See, it pisses me off. I had one that I used for years. Bought it when I was 18, bought it big and was still using it 4 yrs ago. A friend of mine was riding back with a few of us from a show out of state and at 3am, he got out, grabbed his bag, but it wasn't his, it was mine. Didn't realize this until the following day. In it was my gi and my embroidered black belt, nice heavy double weave, ran me 150-175 years and years ago and it was still going strong.
I called him the next day and told him he grabbed the wrong bag. He said he'd get it to me at the next show. Well, he ended up losing his job, knocked up a chick and flaked out. He moved out of town to go live back home in Philly then apparently moved up to New Jersey where he smacked some 14 yr old and ended up doing time, he's still doing time for it. But needless to say, I never did get my gi back. Damn I loved that gi.
I'll check out all of these sites guys and I appreciate you all taking the time to post them for me!
