Junior Dos Santos question

Who is his most credible win to date?

Roy Nelson, Gonzaga, Struve, Werdum, Cro Cop, and Yvel.

Werdum Cro Cop Gonzaga

forgot Big Country

His most credible, as in name THE most credible. It's one fighter answer. Who is his single most biggest win over?

It's okay, feel free to drink the kool aid.

Werdum

I would say as of now Roy Nelson because he was coming into the fight on a winning streak.

why don't you just tell us why you think he sucks so we can get this trolljob over with

Roy Nelson was 2-2 his last four before he fought JDS. Roys two big wins were over Struve and Brandon Schaub(Tuf finalist-UFC Debut). Roys biggest win to date before he fought JDS was either Brad Imes, or Brandon Schaub)

Werdum was 2-1 in the UFC, with his one loss being to a former UFC champion, and although extremely boring fight, it was fairly close). Werdums biggest win up till he fought JDS is a toss up take your pick-Tom Erickson in 2005, Alistair Overeem in 2006, Alexander Emelianenko late 2006, or Gabriel Gonzaga.

It comes down to either Roy or Werdum, so now that it's narrowed down, pick

JDS doesn't suck. He looks fairly promising.

AuzzieOsbourne -
Herring In A Fur Coat -  Cro Cop.  He made Cro Cop verbally quit.  Who else has done this?

You're making JDS fans look bad idiot.

WTF are you talking about dude. How is that making anyone look bad? He is saying his opinion.

so the point of this thread is what...he is ranked too high? People are too impressed with him?

Who has been more impressive in their last 5 fights?

I just want to know, is beating Werdum significant?

Everyone takes away from Werdum and what he's done since his loss, yet know one mentions that the guy he lost to has also been making waves.

^^^^
Great Gif's. Dos Santos has the best boxing in the UFC, hands down.

If you're trying to discredit JDS, you've failed horribly.

Asking if a win over Werdum is significant, really shows your complete lack of MMA knowledge.

 brock his eye socket too

Overeem did it. At least from what i saw

I'm not trying to discredit JDS.

I just want to point out that very many people take away what Werdum has done since his loss to JDS, BECAUSE he lost to JDS.

JDS is ONE fight away from a title shot, and TWO fights away from being the UFC HW Champion, and more than likely, being the general consensus #1 HW fighter if that happens.

Werdum didn't have to beat a past his prime Cro Cop(still a worthy opponent), Stefon Struve(who is still making a name for himself), or Roy Nelson(also establishing himself).

Werdum already showed he has promise by beating people like:Tom Big Cat Erikson(who in 2005 was still relevent)Gabriel Gonzago two times, Alistair Overeem, Alexander Emelianenko, and TKO'd a striker in Brandon Vera before facing Junior Dos Santos.

Junior, like Werdum, shows a very strong skill set in his hands, where as his ground has really truly yet to be tested. Werdum, has shown very strong skill set in his BJJ, but his hands needed to improve, and JDS PROVED that.

I could say that Werdum, like Fedor, made a mistake and "got caught" and still has a better resume than JDS(which up till now he does), but I remember picking JDS to win. To be honest though, it was more out of spite for Werdum b/c one-I thought he was a poor mans Nogueira who was my favorite, and two was mad at him AND Andrei for that crappy ass fight. Plus I liked Brandon Vera and I thought the fight was prematurely stopped.

BUT......When I think about it, Werdum, like a few other fighters I started out disliking, has earned my respect.

He was a BJJ guy who couldn't strike, but since my original analysis of him, has PROVEN TO ME, that he can take a punch, and he can definitely improve his stand up game and has done so.(with motivation after JDS loss).

I also didn't like Overeem for a long time. Thought he was a b- level fighter at lhw. Actually, I didn't think anything of him. Then when Overeem turned into Ubereem, I started to dislike him, but that was more so the hype  by his fans. But over time, after watching enough of him fight, I also respected him and what he's doing.

Stefon Struve could be the next Overeem, who knows.

Overeem did it with nut shots.

Crocop was looking for a way out. From what I saw
