Just a couple thoughts.

Congrats detroit. Even though your a NFC north rival it was great to see. Because I hate washington.

Jets are for real. Sanches is going to be a really good qb. I think.

GO VIKINGS!!! great throw and catch for the WIN!!!

Flacco is starting to come into his own.

LOL at Washington.

Houston is the jeckle and Hyde of the NFL. And Shaub is lighting it up this year.

Whats wrong with the Titans?? Sister favorite team, I'll have to call her and give her some shit.

 No comment on the Bengals?

I think I posted this before they won. I don't know whats wrong in PIT but I feel they will get it together. Bengals should be 3-0.

The lack of a DT who can hold the LOS and a safety who can make a tackle is extremely disconcerting. If the LBers get blocked out after the DT gets driven 5 yards off the LOS or whiff the tackle then its pretty much guaranteed to go the distance given the safety play. Truly horrific I tell you!!!

It seems the Texans are gonna need to put 30+ points on the board in every game this year to have a shot. If Kubiak wants to save his job he's gonna have to probably dangle a high draft choice as trade bait to get a competent player at either DT or SS because the personnel on the roster just aren't good enough to play in the NFL.

That goes for Amobi Okoye or I-91 as I like to call him these days. I cant believe the Texans passed on Patrick WIllis and Darrelle Revis to take a project DT who may or may not start playing well after he plays out his rookie contract. Gets decent push in the pass rush but one of the worst starting DTs in the NFL against the run.

Wasn't Okoye only 19 when he was drafted? I think that the Texans need to add another big body, but Okoye could develope into a great 3 technique for Houston.

Sadly, since Houston is the Denver of the south you will have the same frustrations I had. For at least 10 years of the shanahan regime I wanted them to get BIGGER and more physical up front. We consistantly had smaller DTs and counted on speed at LB to get the job done. I do not think people really understood how good the LB corps of Gold, Wilson, and DJ was. Those guys flat out carried our defense during the year we went to the AFC Championship.

Kubiak is smart, and I think he will add size up front and get Okoye to the 3 tech to get a pass rush. I think Houston should be modeling their defense after the Giants personally. The have Mario, and are pretty solid at DE (not like NY but solid) and if they can add some size up front I think they could quickly turn into a very good defense with Demarco, Mario, Cushing, and Dunta.

Sanchez is this years Flacco, ie has a horseshoe up his ass on draft day. Strong Offensive line - check. Strong running game - check. Great defense - check. Solid receivers/tight end - check.  Who would you rather be, Sanchez or Stafford?

Sanchez was put in a position where he could win. And can really develop and thrive there.

Stafford is going to develop a lot of bad habits playing for Detroit and trying to avoid getting his head taken off every other play.

Exactly, Okoye was 19 and will play out his rookie contract before the team will know if he can be any good. Kubiak is on his 4th year coaching this team, he knew that another mediocre season he gets canned. Yet he promotes from within for DC and doesn't even interview another candidate. It seems like he only hires coaches and picks players that are on his myspace friends list.

If he has yet to shore up the same weaknesses we've had (lack of ass at DT and pathetic safety play) I dont think he'll ever fix that. He's had 4 years and the same problems on defense are still there.

This team looks a lot like the Saints last year: High powered offense but that doesn't matter because the defenses is shit. Difference is Sean Payton recognized this and broke the bank to get a proven DC while we promote a coach that was on the same shitty coaching staff with a "more aggressive" but still shitty coaching philosophy.

I would love for the Texans to model their defense after the Giants, but unfortunately Kubiak doesn't know anyone on the Giants coaching staff so there's no chance he can hire anyone to make that happen.

DeSean is the man ... he's even more awesome than Rashad!
