I have no idea what's been patched and what hasn't, but if you can still duplicate shipments, and you just wanna play the whole game completely overpowered, duplicate shipments of copper and keep making statues.

Uni man -You either were or are still able to duplicate any item that was Shipment of X. You could go to a workshop, empty out everything from it and anything in your inventory in the junk section to another container, except the shipment you wanted to duplicate. From there, you would open the workshop, press the button to empty you misc items into the workshop, and then the button to take everything out of the workshop in quick succession. If done properly, you'd end up with however many of the item were in the shipment, while still keeping the shipment itself. Spamming this to get thousands of every building material is fairly easy, allowing you to have everything you need to build settlements easily.ASchlinky - I have no idea what's been patched and what hasn't, but if you can still duplicate shipments, and you just wanna play the whole game completely overpowered, duplicate shipments of copper and keep making statues.Statues? The best way to abuse this for experience is to get 10,000 copper, make a ton of the baseball player statues you unlock from the Picket Fences magazine, scrap them, and do it again.
I have no clue if this still works. Also the Dogmeat thing was patched I think.

Get your dick wet in as many companions as you can. Chicks, dudes, ghouls, robots... basically if it's a consenting adult and can form a basic sentence and you can fuck it, you should fuck it.
Father will pay you 1000 caps to blow him if you enter The Institute wearing Sexy Nightwear, a Wig and Makeup. Got super rich this way.
ASchlinky -This has been working so far. I'm at like 2,000 copper.Uni man -You either were or are still able to duplicate any item that was Shipment of X. Also find the crashed ufo.

Get MacReady as your companion and complete his quests as soon as possible.
Yossarian - You gonna build a really tall wall around your town?
OP, don't do it. Raiders will just spawn inside of your settlement. Once you have a few turrets up, they will NEVER attack.
Turrets > Walls
Donald Trump - I've heard mixed reviews guys.
What tips do you have to give me the edge?
The game is created to ensure you always have the edge.
It's a very easy game. I'm not even joking.
Why use some lame trick to get building material? I played on survival mode and I acquired all the material I needed to build out all my settlements by scavenging. You can enter cheat codes as well but that kind of defeats the purpose of playing. Level 124 with 373 hours played.
Soup and Beer -I'm on Xbox one.

I just started over. Uninstalled my game and disconnected from Internet so I have no patches.

daglord -Trump never liked better. VUSquatdog -Yossarian - You gonna build a really tall wall around your town?
...and make the Super-Mutants pay for it.

Perfect. I didn't even have to restart the game. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and went offline and I'm running version 1.0.9. Which is basically stock. So I shall glitch away.
I figured with a past save file on a higher firmware it wouldn't let me load, but it did.
You'll eventually meet a group of greasers called the atom cats...they're pretty cool so don't murder them lol.
