I did the Wall concert last night drinking a bottle of wine. First time in years also. Good stuff

Hush now, baby, baby.

Great concept album and even better concert. I often wonder if Waters and Gilmour got along if their music would be better or worse.

Don’t know, but seeing Gilmour live was a religious experience for me.

Pink Floyd is a lot of smoke and mirrors. Super boring songs. It’s early edm. Without drugs and the show it would be boring and dull.

same here dude. the whole concert was amazing, but the encore of time/comfortably numb/run like hell, took me to a whole other place.

They are a bit like Nirvana for me in that they are really good but also quite depressing. So, I don’t listen often. I love Vera and wish it were longer.

I need to do this soon.

If you should go skating
On the thin ice of modern life
Dragging behind you the silent reproach
Of a million tear-stained eyes
Don’t be surprised when a crack in the ice
Appears under your feet
You slip out of your depth and out of your mind
With your fear flowing out behind you
As you claw the thin ice

Now before the weekend is over I think I will watch the movie

Never cared for The Wall but loved Animals.

One of the all time great albums.

Many a psycadelic days and nights with that album as the center piece.

I have the guitar book for it too, with full color images from the album.

Back in the day I could play a lot of it on guitar.

Alcohol is the only “situation enhancer” I use these days… but it still holds up.

Animals doesn’t get enough love IMO.

One of the great albums of all time.

It’s sound is so unique, dynamic, and just awesome.
And David Gilmour’s perfect guitar playing gives me chills to this day.

Brilliant album.

I can’t say I like it better that The Wall, just different.

Dark Side of the Moon
Wish You Were Here
Animals
The Wall

To me that’s the big 4, representing peak Floyd.
Can’t pick a favorite among them, since they are each so unique.

Of course, Pink Floyd has other great albums and great songs within them (even post Waters) – but these IMO are cohesive concepts where every track has its perfect place in the story.

Brilliant fucking band!
