...and had a rather nice time.
that particular Isle of Sandwich has much to offer, even with vagrants and noncitizens doing their best to vex the native population.
wonder how old that map is? not bad topography for that time. ive seen worse as stickers on backs of pick ups.
it seems like he's been away that long!
u still here Pat?
Mmanizzle - u still here Pat?
Sadly, no. Just buzzed in and out of town for about 4 days to take care of some family business.
But I gotta admit, those 4 days left me wanting more. Some simple things made the trip a nice break from NYC:
-spending time with my family in the patio/lanai of my Gpa's Manoa home
-a quick swim and nap at Ala Moana (beach, not mall...although it would've been classic to swim in the mall's koi pond and then fall asleep in a display bed at Sears)
-portuguese sausage, pao doce, and malasadas (Pocho dietary staples that are all unavailable in NYC)
-late night Sorabol after a UH basketball game
-hanging out with a few dipshits who I respectfully call 'my friends'
interesting.
