How did Maynard win?
Also when grey says he wants the
belt back...uh what belt is that, didn't think he ever had a belt.
Frankie loses to Bendo, Bendo kills Maynard the end
He beat Guida in every area. He outstruck Guida and was the more accurate striker, won the grappling, and had octagon control.
Now the question is...How did Guida win?
Cecil peoples scored it 30-27 herb Dean
Guida's eye was fucked more than Gray's nose too. Damage points go to Gray.

Guida won. I wish someone would creatg a highlight real of Maynard's many swing and miss punches that almost had him running into the cage at times off balance. I never saw som many wild misses. Guida was there, then he wasn't.

lol very
I know that was so cool right. Turning your back and running away from your opponent is so cool.

Yet Maynard landed more punches in the fight, and landed a higher percentage of strikes than guida.
Guida only landed 4 strikes in one round, and had a 14 % landing rate for the fight.
Fight Metric numbers prove Gray outstruck Guida.
You dont win fights by dodging.

I doubt YouTube would let you upload such a long video though.

easedel - No you win fights by throwing hissy fights cause you cant get the guy to the ground, by holding the guy in the clinch by grabbing his hair n throwing a handful of punches during that.
Guida won. It was a bad decision.
If you honestly think Guida won with that performance all i can say is....fucking 10'ers

Nah, that's easy...no highlight reel needed.
Just upload the entire fight.
easedel - No you win fights by throwing hissy fights cause you cant get the guy to the ground, by holding the guy in the clinch by grabbing his hair n throwing a handful of punches during that. You are an idiot. Guida never landed more than 11 strikes in a round. And that was with grey letting him tee off in the fifth to get him to engage. He got out struck in rounds 3 4 and 5 and with the scoring system and no real ground fighting that's 3-2 Maynard. The right guy won.
Guida won. It was a bad decision.

People who think Guida won are fooled by constant/irrelevant head bobbing, and volume punches that mostly missed.
Maynard outstruck Guida, he was the aggressor, you are an idiot if you think Guida won.
easedel - I do think he won. Was it pretty? Not at all but Grey didn't land one effective punch until about the 4th round. I just don't see how he won 3 rounds.
Clay was making him look silly when Grey was swatting at mid air. Hell two times during the first few rounds Clay rocked Grey a bit. More then I can say for what Grey did.
People are just butthurt cause it brought back Diaz Cond flashbacks.
Not at all.
I am a Condit supporter for winning the Diaz fight.
Making Maynard miss is not a component of winning a fight. It's just avoiding losing, its not a factor in judge scoring.
THe fight statistics are out, and they prove Maynard landed more total strikes, and more significant strikes, and a higher percentage of strikes landed . As well as having a sub attempt.
Don't be fooled by style over substance. This isnt the Ultimate Footwork Championships

This. People that think Guida was winning in any stat are delusional and probably thought Leonard Garcia won all those robbery decisions.
MAYNARD was ahead in every stat for every round, IIRC. The only round that the stats even were close, might have been the second round.
The only one who looked silly was Guida...back to the prelims buddy.

Gray had better grappling... when he Guida wasnt running from him
Gray had more aggression..... Guida was anything but aggressive.
Gray had more octagon control.... how can you say Guida had control when he is on his bike.
Striking could have gone either way for me but Gray had more power punches. But I wouldnt argue if anyone thought Guida had the edge.
