K-1 Beast 2004 results

I'll update the results as I get them from www.sportsnavi.co.jp. Gotta love that site. They're always doing live results for Japanese events.

Fight 1 (MMA rules): Ivan Salaverry def. Khaliun Boldbataar by unanimous decision 5:00 R2

Next: Masaaki Miyamoto vs. Cliff "Twin Tyson" Couser (K-1 rules)

Fight 2 (K-1 rules): Masaaki Miyamoto def. Cliff Couser by unanimous decision 3:00 R3 (30-28, 30-29, 30-28)

Next: Tsuyoshi Nakasako vs. Mavrick (K-1 rules)

Fight 3 (K-1 rules): Tsuyoshi Nakasako def. Mavrick by KO 1:30 R1

""5:00 R2"

2 rounds?"

Yeah. Ivan/Boldbataar was a prelim match, only 2 rounds.

Next: Tatsufumi Tomihira vs. Petr Vondrachek (K-1 rules)

what's the complete card?

are there only 4 MMA fights?

Salaverry/Boldbaatar, Greco/Gamlin, Ignsahov/Williams, and Sapp/Sumiyabazar?

http://www.so-net.ne.jp/feg/k-1gp/top587.htm

There are 5. The one you missed is Michael McDonald vs. Lyoto Machida.

Thanks

Fight 4 (K-1 rules): Tatsufumi Tomihira def. Petr Vondrachek by unanimous decision 3:00 R3 (30-28, 30-28, 30-27)

That has to be considered an upset.

Next: Hiromi Amada vs. Butterbean (K-1 rules)

LOL, this card sucks ass. K-1 would be stupid to put this on US PPV.

Fight 5 (K-1 rules): Hiromi Amada def. Butterbean by unanimous decision 3:00 R3 (30-29, 30-27, 30-27)

Next: Michael McDonald vs. Lyoto Machida (MMA rules)

Fight 6 (MMA rules): Lyoto Machida def. Michael McDonald by guillotine choke R1

Next: Sam Greco vs. Stefan Gamlin (MMA rules)

i wanna see mcdonald in mma bad

He had a really tough dude for his debut. Lyoto looks pretty awesome so far.

Fight 7 (MMA rules): Sam Greco def. Stefan Gamlin by rear naked choke R1

LOL.

Next: Alexey Ignashov vs. Steve Williams aka Dr. Death (MMA rules)

Hmmm, possibly. I think Greco is a little too old and beat up to be a force, though. Beating Gamlin really proves nothing.

Lyoto is the man.

Looks like they got some foreign tomato cans to fight against the japanese.

all those japanese fighters that won are all nobodies. Maybe hiromi amada is decent but nothing great.

can't wait for the mongolian to beat Sapp.

"all those japanese fighters that won are all nobodies. Maybe hiromi amada is decent but nothing great."

Hiromi Amada isn't that bad. He's had over 100 amateur boxing matches (lots of experience), and he hits hard. He'd be a lot better if he could do something other than punch. He's probably the third best Japanese heavyweight, behind Musashi and Fujimoto.

Sam Greco is great. He might be a force in MMA, but yeah like ryan said, a little too old

Yup, dunski's, game over. Thanks tons though for the update's on this event though. You da man Ryan!!

seems like a shitty night of fights so far. no competitive matchups it seems.

Sapp vs. the mongolian will be great I think.
