K-1 has been the largest kickboxing organazation in the world for almost twenty years. During that time some of the greatest kickboxers evers have fought under their banner.
The organazations champion is decided each year by the K-1 World Grand Prix tournament. Therefore the best kickboxers in the world are on a COLLISION COURSE every year. That and non-tournament matches have resulted in some fighters facing each other multiple times. This has created some intense rivalries, and some of the most anticipated, and exciting matches in combat sports history.
The next fights I'm going to post are the battles between Jerome Le Banner and Mark Hunt
Le Banner is considered the best fighter to never win the K-1 WGP. One of the most dangerous men to ever compete in the sport of kickboxing. Le Banner was a threat to knockout any man on the planet!
Mark Hunt is a one time K-1 Grand Prix champion He is known for having one of the hardest heads in combat sports, he has taken kicks and punches (sometimes asking for them) from some of baddest men on the planet and literally just smiled His toughness combined with a heavy right hand made Hunt one of the most dangerous fighters in K-1!
These two met four times, two fights were back and forth all out wars one of the other ended quickly and Violently!

Amazing. Every time Hunt got in bad trouble, he rallied to hurt or drop LeBanner.

k-1 just ruled so hard.
Subbed for viewing.
God I loved K1 in its heyday. So much fun to watch. I used to have a guy in Rochester send me bootlegged tapes because you couldn't see it anywhere up here. I'd avoid this place (subfighting.com) so I wouldn't know the results. These used to be a kickboxing forum website as well (theaxe.com???). Memories....
