Was the K1 show with SCHAFFA v GOTO on TV tonight (fri 18th) ?

Just got back from fights in Brisbane and thought I may have missed it.

anyone that saw it what did ya think of the fight?

Yeah I saw it,..by accident,..just turned the channel and was glad I
did..missus wasn't.

I caught from Shaffa onwards. He looked really good and the
commentators were instant fans.

George S Vs Bittencourt was good too. I think it was a good exposure
for new MMA fans too.

JWP was robbed..plain and simple.

If I see it on again I'll tape it.

I saw it, great show.

Schaffa looked awesome, the commentators had no idea about his Boxing background though which made for some ditzy comments.

George S looked unfazed by Bittencourt, dominated from the start, good fight for the fans too.

Didn't see JWP's match.

Slowinski looked good, put a clinic on Chrisopoulides who never says die and got some choice shots in too.

Not to disscredit george who put on a superb display against an incredibly credentialled fighter. George cut to 74kg for the match and Marcio was walking at 67kg he is only a tad bigger than LIMA. Would love to see him fight again around his own weight. I believe if TE PAA (70kg as billed) had been there it would have made for a tremdous match.

SCHAFFA v GOTOH was an incredible match as a point of interest when LEBANNER and SAPP fought under the same structure they alternated gloves for each round, I preferred the way Ray did it.

Ian's fight was the finest display of boxing I have ever seen in the small gloves.

The weight difference between George & Marcio was very easy to see
via the TV. George was all class thou. Looked sooo composed before
and during the fight.

Our band played at dooleys(bris) on fri and saw JWP on the big screen, Man that was one of the best K B fights ive ever seen. JWP blitzed the opening rounds but sreemed a little flat towards the end. the thai seemed to have heaps better timing in the later rounds.... pissed that i didnt get to see Ians fight.

Nathan, the general consensus was that JWP was robbed. How did you see it?

Noting the fight was 3x3 with a 10 point must. It went extra rounds if they were even.

The way it panned out they had it a draw at 3, then at 4 (the round most scored for JWP) then draw in the 5th.

For those who like thai I am looking to bring Jongsanen here to fight Bruce MACPHIE.
