I like Alves' chances but Karo is a tough dude who seems to gut out fights. I would have rather seen him fight Fitch for a true #1 contender but I do think Alves takes Karo out of the title picture.

Also Fitch is pushing to try and get the fight changed to him vs Karo now that Gono is out. Try as he might, the only way Karo can continue to avoid Fitch is to lose.

I'm betting on Karo, but Thiago's a badass. If I have a son, I'm naming him Thiago (which will be weird as I'm Scot-Irish)...

Tough fight to call. I am looking forward to this one. Both fighters need a win to contend for the title, loser becomes permanent gatekeeper.

I need to see more footage of Alves to make a determination.

Not really, he lost to Diego, Diego lost to Fitch, he's got to put himself back up there by beating either Fitch, Kos or Alves. He gets to fight Alves so he's on track, now he just has to win...and hopefully finish!
