Kaufman: Miesha Tate is a coward if...

<p>Sarah Kaufman beat Miesha Tate when the two were rising stars on the Strikeforce Challenger Series and now is hoping for a rematch in the UFC:</p>
"It's insane, and the only thing it comes down to is if she'll fight everyone in the division but me, that makes you a coward. It's as simple as that," Kaufman said. "Why wouldn't you want that fight back?"
If Tate continues to dodge her challenges, Kaufman is willing to move on to a different opponent because ultimately she just wants to fight soon. She wanted to get at least two fights in before the close of 2014, but that didn't happen. Now she's starting out 2015 the same way, and that just doesn't sit well as she hopes to get back into title contention with a few more wins inside the Octagon.
"I just want to get the division moving. We need to have contenders coming up. I'm one of those contenders," Kaufman said. "Let me get in the cage and do what I do and work my way back up. We can't do that with all these girls sitting back and hoping because they have a win over someone else they don't have to fight other good people to get a shot at Ronda."
I don't think Tate is scared of Kaufman. Kaufman is just a bad match up for Tate. If Tate can't get Kaufman down then Kaufman will out point Tate. Last time they fought it was 3 min rounds. Now with 5 min rounds I think it favors Tate.

I think she just wants a fight. It seems you need 1-2 wins to get a titleshot vs ronda now a days, so it seems people would rather not fight her and take a different path.
McMann, who isn't a trash talker by any means, implied several times that Kaufman was ducking her, and that she declined fighting her three times... she went as far as saying she'd look to fight people who are actually interested in fighting her...
Don't confuse fear of a fighter with the fear of losing. Most fighters do not fear their opponent or even injuries. Trust me when I say that the fear of losing is the fear the majority of the fighters face. The more you win the more that can grow. Fear of pay reduction, fear of letting loved ones and supporters down, etc etc. Rarely is it actualy from fear of a certain fighter themselves. So when Sarah says Tate is scared, I can easily see the truth in that. It could also be that Tate isn't scared of losing at all, just that she is playing her cards as smart as she possibly can to maximize her income
Only Miesha knows the answer to that, but ruling Sarahs comments out as ridiculous is pretty silly. Losing to Ronda doesn't affect her earning potential or job standing nearly as much as losing to Sarah would at this point.

Haha, Kaufman should maybe fight more before she talks about Tate this way. Tate has had 3 dangerous fights in the past year and won them all, most recently breaking her orbital in round one to one of the best Women in the world and coming back to dominate 2 rounds. Not to mention being so game she wanted not only to beat Ronda, but to beat her by proving she could grapple her. And she lasted 3 rounds attempting that stubborn tactic

Annoying to you? She wants to fight and hits harder than a mother fucker. You think Sarah is annoying, because people duck her? In a thin division? Go suck a duck. She deserves it, and she is one of the best in her class. Maybe you're annoying.
Fan favorite? She is hobbled by the fact that she isn't a looker. But i think she's cute (i liked her punching cupcake video...for two reasons other than the cupcake.)
