Kavanaugh meltdown compilation

EFM -

I really do t get the emotion on either side.  There was no proof this guy did anything, and never a chance he wasnt going to get confirmed, (although it was pretty close in the end) and yet he wasnt all that special, and trump had a list of 60 more to choose from had he not been confirmed.

Both sides losing their minds over a scotus appointment.

I agree. This tribal thing is just stupid.

Inn

they are absolutely enraged over nothing, a big lie, these loons are so easily manipulated

This is the left.

Lol! Meltdown...

I would love to see your reaction if someone accused you of attempted rape and tried to ruin your career in front of your family and the entire nation. Especially if they came without a shred of evidence. Of course for you that probably wouldn’t mean much, you probably wouldn’t even lose your EBT card.

This is the “character” of the left.

Nothing says free thought and being against the patriarchy like parroting what you're told to from a white male...

Lets be real though these people would have been equally unhinged even without the sexual assault accusations. That was just their rallying cry. If it wasn't that it'd have been he's trying to destroy their uteri.

Starting a "national democratic socialist working group" so Nazis...

The only work a democratic socialist is qualified for. Acting like a spoiled brat and screaming at people who are successful in life.

Lol at the cat line at the end perfect.

It was a complete shitshow for both “parties”. I didn’t really care one way or the other with Kavanaugh, but what a clusterfuck on both sides.

If there was ever a time for the Libertarian party to gain some support, it’s now.

There is no more place for moderates or centrists on either side, it’s nuts.

It’s not just about Kavanaugh. If you ask all the Conservatives here I bet the majority would say that he wasn’t even their first pick. It was the win against the mob, and for decency.

Morality fought back and beat slander, lies, and disorder. That’s something to celebrate, and to foster moving forward.

Clarence Thomas’ comments were awesome.

“And from my standpoint as a black American, as far as I’m concerned, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you. You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. – U.S. Senate, rather than hung from a tree.”

many OGers have called Kavanaugh an awesome pick.  he wasn't a bad pick, but if you go down the list of trumps potential picks, all that really stands out about kavanaugh is that he was from the dc circuit court.  it has the reputation of second highest in the land, but it really isn't any different than any other district.  all of his other accomplishments are similar to the rest of the list.

regardless, i agree with your general sentiment but the accusations were so baseless i didn't think of it as a win.  a defeat would have been a massive injustice but this seemed like such an obvious outcome to call it a win and to "celebrate" it just seems almost as ridiculous as the left freaking out about it.

What did the Republicans do wrong here?
