Kayla is a a highly skilled beast (in the best sense of the word)
A 2 gold medal winner in women judo. as well as world champion/Pan AM. Those aren’t won easily.
She is what Rhonda should have been if she went someplace good to train real MMA.
At 34 she has a few more years to make history in MMA.

Amanda threw off Ronda’s attempts to clinch like they were nothing…
Kayla is a different beast of course so it will be interesting to see how that fight plays out.

Yes Amanda did throw off the clinch, and then Ronda agreed to the reality of a striking match so she got knocked out.
Had Ronda approached mma with the attitude of a merab… she’d have thought
“She threw off my clinch like nothing, now I just have to try it again and again and again until she’s tired.”
If Kayla understands one shot and clinch over n over… it may come down to who gases first
