...and here's why...
Does anyone remember the fight between Ken and Franklin?
If that had been Kimbo, and not Rich Franklin, i think we'd have seen Ken's hand being raised and not Kimbo's.
Kimbo doesn't hit any harder than Franklin. But Kimbo has nowhere near the same level of skills. And Rich was almost submitted by Ken.
It all depends on Ken's mindset. 80% or more of success in fighting is mental. So if Ken has the ability to avoid a slug-fest with Kimbo, and takes him to the ground as quick as possible. He has a great chance of winning.
I agree. Kimbo doesn't seem to have much of a ground game so I think he would have a difficult time avoiding a submission if ken takes it to the ground.
I am looking forward to this fight, but unfortunately not in the same way I look forward to watching guys like Anderson Silva or even the upcoming Lesnar vs Couture fight. This is more out of morbid curiosity. In the world of MMA, this fight means nothing but I am curious to see it.

I think it's more than that. Esp. if Kimbo can avoid a sub and beat the living snot out of Ken. If he can survive the ground game of Ken then he'll have to gain some respect as a real MMA fighter.
I truly see Kimbo as a prospect. He has a long way to go but i don't think we can write him off just yet.
Ken does have a chance for a sub. But we have yet to see how much Kimbo has learned and grown since his last performance.
I'm very interested to see this fight.
Ken is going to want to stand and trade and so he will get killed by Kimbo.

-BRILLIANT!
Heres how I see it:
Ken comes out looking mad as hell, as if someone just raped his new puppy.
They circle, and trade jabs from the outside.
We notice Ken appears to be moving in slow motion and it's as if we are seeing Kimbo in real time and Ken a half second later.
Ken is getting tired from his short arm punches that are missing the mark badly.
Kimbo is starting to find the range and knocks ken down with a right hook.
Kimbo follows Ken to the ground and Ken is covering up and not fighting back.
Referee Dan Mirgliota is forced to put a stop to the fight.
Ken goes home happy with his paycheck. Kimbo is moderately put over by Ken, and EXC has their headliner for another event.
It will not go any other way, unfortunately.
I think you've seen the future.
The only way Ken can win is if he comes out wearing a certain purple cape. Otherwise - no chance.
MDF tm - it might end in contraversy, kimbo flurrying on ken, and the ref jumpin in, then shamrock snapping
Are you suggesting that Kenneth Wayne "steak and chicken beat you into a living death" Shamrock is an ungracious loser? I dont think any evidence exists of that.
god I love you guys! in a al stankie kind of way

Unfortunately you're probably right. But i hope not.

Remember half of fighting is 80% mental
"Ken is a fucking heel- anyone who honestly believed he was going to make a fight out of anything after 2002 is fucking a doped"
what exactly is a doped and how would someone fuck one?
if Ken can pull that fall off again without really getting hit he may get it to the ground
keiths - if Ken can pull that fall off again without really getting hit he may get it to the ground
That's my point.

Like, whoa... Ken x Franklin...
I want you to really think about it, man.
CRE - The headkick Rich fired after being nearly submitted was so defining a moment for a warrior like Franklin.
You could hear the crowd roar when he did that!!
I doubt Kimbo would react and throw a kick.
We'll see.
Already In Use - Push looks fake.
Seems to me he pushed Kimbo because he turned his back to him when they were expected to face each other in the stand-off for the camera.
But it could have been staged.
Though i've never seen a fighter turn his back like that at a weigh-in.
Nice call, nofatchicks.
Franklin hits as hard as Kimbo? I serously doubt it.
I really don't see how so many of you would go w/ Shamrock in this fight. He can no longer take a shot, he's in his forties, he gasses like Mir, he hasn't beaten anyone of quality in years, he weighs 30 lbs. less than Kimbo... I could go on and on. I just don't see Ken taking Kimbo to the ground. He's not Randy Couture, after all.
