That's right. Kenny is a stud who has been successful in sport BJJ, sub grappling, and mma. And he is an excellent instructor and coach.
Diego is an exceptional, larger and more experienced mma fighter, and he won tonight. That fact doesn't take anything away from Kenny.
figure four - it's hard to defend your guard when your backs against the fence. I just talked to Kenny's corner, the second time they were on the ground Kenny got hit hard and couldn't see anything and was just going on feel to get out. Diego to his credit just smelled the blood and finished it.

Dude has my respect with out a doubt, he got to the finals, has attained a level most of us dream of having, and could probably kill me if he liked. So, would he tap me, fuck yea. But, i've said the same thing about Vitor and Silva, I think BJJ blackbelts are handed out to quick, but maybe I’m wrong…all I know is what I’ve seen on TV. Yes he was outweighed, but to me a BJJ black belt should encompass take downs, as well as ground control while a guy is trying to bash your face in. Dude is slick on the ground, with out a doubt, I just felt like a BJJ bb should have been able to do more. For all I know he probably had a bad night, and under different circumstances done a lot better.
What it comes down to, for me, is that when I hear someone is a BJJ bb I get excited and anticipate a great match on the ground, for this final fight I was a little let down, little agitated, and pretty drunk, thus I become an asshat.

even if they were off the fence the result would have been the same...Kenny is way too relaxed and way too subdued in his grappling, as attested by his Highlight video floating around. Diego was just too strong, just too fast, and just too heavy for kenny...
it doesn't take away from Kenny being a stud for stepping up...
why is it when guys talk about a result of a fight, guys who are friends with the loser always got to come on here and say "hey i bet he would kick your ass" to whoever posted the comment? like that has anything to do with reality.
