Khabib: Dana White is lying

His people are trying to pull what Fedors handlers did.

WAR DANA

Lights Out Lurker - I'm completely okay if Askren, Khabib, Cain, Mighty Mouse, GSP, and Jon Jones never fight again.
Wtf... quit watching

He's trying to sabatoge his relationship with Dana because he really doesn't want to fight.  He's creating a conflict to get out of fighting.  I assume he's hoping Dana will respond by putting him on the shelf, then he has another excuse for not fighting, that it's Dana who is to blame.

I don't understand how someone like Cerrone can fight like 4-5 times a year and someone like Khabib has only fought a few times in like 4 years.  He's either extremely brittle, or he's continually finding a way to get out of fighting.  He could be avoiding match-ups against more difficult styles or fights, or his heart isn't in it, but something is wrong.  The only people who fight that infrequently are usually champs who have been suspended or are Cain and keep getting injured.

Haha, I agree.  I love watching Cain fight, but God damn, he never shows up.

I think everyone is getting sick of champions fighting safe and boring, champions cheating, and champions just flat out not fighting by stalling or running in circles.

Why does everyone like and respect fighters like Liddell, MacGregor, and Cerrone?  Because they show up, they don't duck anyone, and in fights they actually fight.

I'm so glad they never even considered Askren.  When Shields and Fitch were cut, it was so awesome.

MMA Newbie -

One of the most unmarketable fighters possibly ever in this entire sport

But bro..Russia..40 million PPV buys. He's bigger than Mcgregor. He told us.

Askren is retiring and has fought bums his entire career while humping his way to victory....No thanks.

Khabib can’t make weight, humps people, has his dad constantly talking about his retirement, complains non stop, he can’t fight for several months out of the year…No thanks.

Cain…lol my God. Perfected how to get injured, ruin events, and hold up a division for years. No thanks.

Mighty Mouse is now hand picking opponents to get his record, complains about everything, can’t get anyone to buy a ppv even if he begs them, and he’s just tiny…No thanks.

GSP has been gone for years and the welterweight division had been better than ever. The only GSP fights that are exciting are when he gets in a little bit of danger from his opponent. Most people seem to forget how atrocious his title defenses were. He’s not missed and he should stay retired. I don’t think he’ll do the ppv numbers that he thinks he can do…No thanks.

Jon Jones is an absolute garbage fire of a human and has been a cheater for years. He cheats when he fights and he adds steroids to get some extra cheating in their as well. And add Anderson to his club too…No thanks.

So go ahead and say quit watching, but everyone I listed rarely fights, has been retired, cheats, or plans on retiring. I prefer to root for active non cheating fighters. I promise you that if the people I mentioned never fight again the UFC wouldn’t bat an eye. Maybe it’s you that should quit watching and just go watch Fight Pass to relive your glory days of mma when those fighters I listed actually mattered…besides Askren, he never mattered.

Agree with 90% of this.

I am very interested to see how GSP gets on though to be honest.

Dana White is lying?

Dude, if it wasn’t for Dana White, you wouldn’t have shoes.

Oops, I forgot: The fighters don’t wear shoes.

Stop taking terrorist looking sausagefest pictures with your obviously gay buddies and fight!

No way, Dana lying?!?!? I don't believe it lol.

Fights like a beast (oh so rarely). Bitches like a little girl (way too often).

Khabin is a habitual victim. The only problem is that he is a victim of his own cirumstance.

Tim Duncan - Always a good idea to call your boss a liar publicly, even if its true.

He’s done it before, which is probably why Dana tried to make him look bad by saying he turned down Barboza in Nov - the month he had already said he would be ready for.

But Dana wanted him for Oct, and Dana didnt get his way.

I don't think anyone actually believes Dana anymore.  He'll say whatever he wants

Yup, just ask frankie.

So it seems pretty clear he doesnt want to fight anymore so he's calling his boss a liar in public. Good exit strategy

A big hold back in these situations for Khabib is his lack of English, he can't explain his side of the situation articulately so it all becomes a confused mess.
