Khalil Rountree dominates Jamahal Hill is a lack luster fight. The fight went five rounds. The first round was tentative both fighters lacked any great strikes. Hill tried a few leg kicks but didn’t commit. Rountree got the better of the strikes and punished the body and legs of Hill with some crisp strikes.
Hill’s leg began to swell in round 2. His form was off and he couldn’t get the proper footing in order to attack. He stood in there and took some punishment but was unable to dish off his own forceful attacks. He had to protect his right leg and could no longer switch stances.
Round 3 was the best round for Rountree he connected with some good combinations and knocked Hill down more then once.
The fight ended and left the fans a bit wanting more. We wanted a better fight. Hill looked soft. Rountree could of attacked the injured Hill harder and went for a finish but that’s something we didn’t get to see.
