Why because there’s so much at stake here. We really get to find out how good Khamzat really is. Also, I feel like middleweight will be more entertaining. After all a clash between Israel Adesanya vs Khamzat Chimaev is perfect so long as Borz still has his perfect record in tact.
This is the test to see if Borz belongs in the top ten of the division. He’s facing the #7 man, Paulo Costa. Costa hits hard which is why he has 11 ko/tko’s out of his 14 wins. Hes a finisher that will knock the senses out of his opponent. Can he do that to Chimaev, can he knock him out? Is Costa fast enough to even hit Chimaev?
Khamzat has so much to lose in this fight. If he get’s clipped or even rocked he might lose a few fans. People are expecting Borz to not be hit and to land every single punch or kick thrown. They are expecting perfection and that is a lot to live up to.
I’m taking Khamzat. Paulo looked horrible against Luke Cockhold. Luke was gassed after the very first round, he was hands on knees after 5 minutes. Paulo still couldn’t finish him and even most the 3rd round embarrassingly. Khamzat might plow right through him
