I like them both but my preference would have been Kimmel.

I've always hated Fallon from his time on snl doing weekend update. Always laughing at his own stuff! I get that sometimes people crack up but he did it all of the time. Phone Post 3.0

Be interesting to see what happens. I think the tonight show as a franchise loses the most by moving it to New York. It's just not going to seem like the tonight show and fallon just seems to silly to capture a wide enough audience. I felt bad for jay when he signed off and I imagine half his audience just goes away. Phone Post 3.0

Fallon is fucking awful.  His entire bit on SNL was acting like he is falling out of character by laughing at his own jokes.  The audience would then start clapping like crazy and he then pretends to compose himself.

He did the same shit in that movie he did with Drew Berrymore, it was the most awkward thing because he didn't seem to know it wasn't live and the whole 4th wall thing lol

I like Fallon as a person, but he's not very funny at all. Kimmel seems to have fallen far into PC corporate land since the end of The Man Show.

I think a more relevant question is "Who actually watches this shit?" When will these stupid ass scripted celebrity interview shows die off? Don't we see enough of these stupid fucks all over the internet?

That said, kimmel reminds me of somebody you would see on an old school celebrity roast. I think he gets the the history better and he fits the show Phone Post 3.0

tough call because they are both super talented.  Just different types of hosts for different types of audiences.  For some reason Jimmy K reminds me of someone who should be in a later time slot than Fallon because he has more of an edge.
