Kipping pullup injury

Been doing them for about 3 weeks now. Got the form down pretty good last week and at the end of a workout banged out 2 sets of 15,12. Today warming up im doing dips, kipping pullups and squats, and 3rd set in my right bicep snapped. It wasn't an audible snap, but I could not go on and had to kill the workout.

My thinking is the fast pace of the kipping is what might have done it. I'm 205 and was going at a pretty fast pace. I have never been injured from a pullup before and wondered if this is common for this kind of pullup. I m just about to start icing it but its more in the middle of my arm then outer.

Any words are very appreciated.

how is it a few days later? hope you didnt rip something. Is it black and blue?

the only injury I have got from kipping pullups was due to the ceiling being too low in my ne gym.
