Actually he just e-mailed to let me know he took third in the brown belt absolute division of the Mundials, making the second weekend in a row (Copa do Mundo) he's accomplished this feat. Huge congratulations to Chris Moriarty, surely one of the strongest American performances ever!!
Bill Cooper lost his first match, and Eliot Marshall won his first two but losing against the (other?) guy who took third place.

I was hesitant to repeat this, since I don't know the source, and therefore take no responsibility for the accuracy of this.
But, I read on another board that he didn't hear his name called for his division & was dq'd for not being at the ring on time. If true, that really sucks for him.
Maybe Chris will be back in a few days & clear it up.
