I saw a little promo for the summer episodes of queer eye, and the first episode plans to make-over a pair of twins who are also wrestlers.
You see the brothers smackin' each other, then tusslin', and then you see Carson getting a hoot and a holler out of it.
Then they cut to an outdoor scenario where these two brothers are at it again, but this time they're on the ground.
The brother on his back is using some version of the de la riva, but the brother on top quickly turns, catches the leg, and kneebars him!!
Like I said, I've only seen the commercials, but now I want to see the episode to see if these guys are bjj or sub-grappling trained in any way.

Hey guys.. The show was actually done on my twin brother and I. We both wrestled in College. I wrestled division 1 at Hofstra U. and my brother D3 and the University of Scranton. I actually wrestled on the same team and years with Baroni,Mike Quaglio, Jon Weilder and James Hieronymous, or Hieron, whatever you know him as. I don't have to mention we had a sick team that year.. .also other bad asses on our team.. Roman Fleszar, Eric Schmiesing, (both two time all americans), Jason Debruin, and Rich Attonito, who is fighting in Mass destruction right now as well...
We both have been fans since the first UFC, and have trained at Renzo's in the city, and some workouts with D'arce from Renzo's.
It's the first time this show has done twins. It was a lot of fun. Though the guys are gay, it's pretty funny show, and they are great people. They hooked our place up pretty nice. During our casting shoot, my brother and I get into an argument, and right away start wrestling, then going into submission. They loved that aspect of it, so they told us, "guys if you feel like wrestling at any point, or if you guys get pissed at eachother, do it"
So, we were ourselves, and throughout the show, that's what happens... We talk about MMA, and submission and wrestling throughout the show.. I also have a lot of tapes and DVD's for pride and UFC, so we explain that as best we can to the Fab Five (or homo's)...
My brother just joined Renzo's again.. we have been out of the loop for quite sometime regarding our training.. but, we are going to finally get serious about our workouts...
I was trying to get the knee bar... but we were in Jcrew suppose to be shopping.. the people in there had no clue what was going on, and shocked the shit out everyone...
so sorry, if my technique was not up to par.. we were in a fuckin store.. shooting a tv show...
The brothers are Dave and Brandon, both very good college wrestlers and good friends of mine. Dave Fought and won in Mass Destruction 1 as a last minute replacement (taking the fight on 15 min notice and fighting with a belly full of beer, thats why he yacked his brians out in the spit bucket for those that remember). Brandon and Dave were both State Champs in High School and continued to wrestle in college. Dave and I wrestled together at Hofstra. They guys from Queer eye dropped like 50 g's on thier appartment and wordrobe (thank god for Brandon). The apartment is hot and their getting hella ass from the episode showing. Both are also on this forum and have been members for years now. I'll let them fess up what screen names they use if they want, but most of you would know them if they did fess up. Peace, Jon Weidler

i filled out a application online, wrote witty yet retarded answers, mentioned i had a caveman twin brother, we were interviewed, we beat eachother up during the casting.. and they said "we love you" congratulations... you're on the show..

yeah, they were pretty gay, but overall it was a good experience... whatever people do on their own time, that's their own business..
