UFC boss let the fans know about a new event coming from a legend of the sport.

After announcing his retirement from MMA in August of last year, Chan Sung Jung, better known to many as “The Korean Zombie,” has found a new way to pass the time.
The Zombie is set to kick off his own MMA promotion with the first event of Z-Fight Night on June 29 in Korea.
For fight fans around the world, the event will be aired lived on UFC Fight Pass and as a result, will be the first event on the platform from Korea.
The main card features six pro fights that will all be available via the streaming platform and have been officially announced.
Via a post on his own social media platforms, UFC CEO Dana White helped to promote this first event by giving fans all the details that they need to know, which will have been a huge boost for the promotion.
"What’s up everybody, I just want to let you know, fan favorite and one of my all time favorites, The Korean Zombie, just launched his own MMA promotion that you can watch live on UFC Fight Pass. His first event is Saturday June 29th, the kicker is it’s at 6am in the morning on the east coast, 7pm Korea standard time, live from Korea University in Seoul. Congratulations Korean Zombie and I look forward to seeing your shows buddy.
MMA Fans React To Dana White Promoting Z-Fight Night On Social Media
On one hand, the event is being aired live on UFC Fight Pass and is headed up by an iconic former member of the roster so it shouldn’t be surprising to see it get some shine from the UFC boss.
That being said, this isn’t a regular occurrence when it comes to upcoming content on the UFC’s streaming service.
