KOTC: MMA Franchaise?

I have noticed that KOTC has expanded out of CA. They are in Ohio, and now Michigan. As well as going into Canada in B.C. and Alberta.

Is KOTC now franchaising their event out or are they just expanding regionally?

If you think about it this would make a lot of sense. Smaller shows nation wide with regions bringing in fighters from all over. This increases revenue as well.

Will they take all these shows and have one super show with the top fighters?

I would think it could be a good idea in the long run.  It would be like the old days of the NWA with all the territories.  Sorry for the pro wrestling reference but it does fit.

Would anyone be able to start a KOTC franchaise?

I would love a combo KOTC / Tim Horton's franchise

99% sure they are franchising of sorts

A timmy's KOTC would go over huge in Canada.

Seriously though, a franchaise system might be just what is needed to kick start a larger movement.

You have available to you pre-set stuff to get a good business started, regional areas etc.

Franchise

I agreed to promote some KOTC events in the Midwest... so far, I've co-promoted two events with Chas Bowling... one in Indianapolis and last week's in Cleveland. Next is a full ppv show in Moline, Ill., on Feb. 17.
