It was a good show, I sat in the cheap seats and had an excellent view. Lots of fights, not much waiting, well run. BIG KO by Hinchliffe, exciting night.

What a night of MMA fights! I definetly want to thank all of the Nanaimo MMA fans for showing up on time and keeping things cool all night (speakin of which, it was stupid cold in that arena).
Thank you to All of the teams that competed in the event: Dragon Martial Arts, in Port Alberni, (this was their first MMA event and there guys looked really good in there, tough kids for sure). Pure Self Defense Studio's in Campbell River, Peterec's Kickboxing & MMA in Victoria, Impact MMA in Nanaimo (8 fighters on the card, 6 wins), Revolution Martial Arts (Velek put on a positional dominance clinic) , Team Denarius, West Coast BJJ & MMA (they went 3-0 in the night, dominated every fight, Mackie, Mac Iver, & Albrecht stuck with the basic BJJ and added some vicous ground and pound), Columbia Martials Arts (Vagay & Majid both looking excellent in their debuts), Suitela MMA, & Team Triple Threat.

Congratulations to Nick and the whole Nanaimo MMA team! Also congratulations to our three guys who not only completely dominated their competition and put some serious pressure on all their three opponents, but they also never got as much as a scratch, which is impressive considering that two of them were complete virgins!

Nick's win maybe considered somewhat of an upset to some, but no real surprise to me. We're on a roll and huge things to come from this team in the future. Stay tuned and you'll see. Great appreciation once again to Don Whitefield and your guys. I really like working with you. You are straight up a class act for sure. Also Warren Lee for putting up some solid talent in their first MMA event. Props to them, good job.
