This is an odd question. Cuz Royce in his prime did not know the "formula" ie that a fighter should be adequate in standup, ground game etc. In royce's prime it was "style v style". Anyway if they were bot 25 today I'll go with angle. He is 1 of the greatest amateur wrestlers of all time and could control Royce to a decision. Phone Post

Kurt Angle is a much better wrestler than Matt Hughes and Bigger. He would take Royce down at will. Slam him several times. repeat for a decision victory.

If they both go back in time to their prime knowing what people know now, then Kurt easy. Going back in time to UFC 1 then Royce.

Do you mean the exact Kurt Angle that participated in the Olympics.

Because if so, Royce by any submission he wants because Angle would be like any other wrestler that had never trained submissions before.

Or is that an imaginary Angle that trains at Extreme Couture for a year before the fight?

If so, can we make it an imaginary Royce that learns wrestling as well ?
