Thank you, and yes it’s been rough. We unloaded two tractor trailer loads of supplies today. I’ve been delivering them to churches and different places. Delivered meals on foot to a section really devastated last night. Luckily people are starting to see where they can get assistance, so it’s getting a little easier to get goods to people.

We had a dinner tonight in an area hit really hard. Fed over 150 ppl, and gave out so many goods I wouldn’t try to count. Thank God for good people

Ky requires flood insurance on any place flooded in the last hundred years. This has never happened. It wasn’t the river, but creeks. Places that have never a flood of this size.
What I mean is house insurance is not going to pay for people wthout flood insurance, and no one had it because this has never happened. We got 10 inches of rain in 4 hours.
The last big flood was in '57. A dam was built so it wouldn’t happen again, but that was for the river, not creeks.

Seems like the lowlands will now carry a known flood risk.
We are at an interesting spot in the two solar cycles, I think extreme and unpredictable weather will be a thing for quite a few years in many locations.

The biggest issue is flood insurance here almost triples your cost. People just can’t afford it.
