i just finished watching last nights tuf and my mind is just blown. from rampage saying "i didnt quit, my fighters quit" to matt mitrione pretending to be crazy thinking it gives him that dont fuck with me im crazy persona when really he just looks like a huge dumbass, and him flipping out in sparring. but the worst part of all was dana getting excited about that "great" fight. seriously dana? seriously??? 2 guys tossing up a hand to slap/punch each other in turn? at the end of the 2nd it looked like 2 guys jokingly slap boxing. i give them their props for showing heart but for dana to blow this up as a good mma fight? is this what you are really going for dana? it was like 2 slower tank abbotts with less power less cardio and no killer instinct fighting each other. it was like a toughman competition. how about you go find some heavyweights with great ground skills and technique to actually show the fine points of mma? did dana bring in ppl like this hoping kimbo would fight them? bc kimbo would definitely be in the finals if he hadnt fought roy. a lay n pray would have been a better show of mma than that.

one highlight to the show: the wes sims everyone has been waiting for was going pretty good this episode. pretty funny and ill bet he eventually gets mitrione to snap

Lol...I remember turning the channel to the fight and looking at how tired and sloppy they were and thinking it must be the end and then realizing that it was only half way through the first round. Man that was tough to watch.

If they ever do another Heavyweight season, they either need to test all of the applicants on cardio rather than fighting skill, or just let them XARM for 2 minutes up until the finals. Mitrione was basically leaving his arms limp and rotating his hips so his arms would fly up at Junk, it was like he had no muscles in his arms.

it just didnt show anything at all for the sport. it was a step back from the original ufc. at least then gracie was outskilling guys. it was just ridiculous. one guys acting like a fucking nutcase and the other guy is saying screw technique im just gonna throw with everything i have. this just doesnt show mixed martial artists as the elite athletes that they are
i do think mitrione may have earned a 10 8 rnd in the 1st as bad as it was. he dropped him like 3 or 4 times
hopefully next season makes up for it. sounds like nick thompson will be on there, is that right? at least we know theres some true skill and talent there
also, id really like to see a 135 and 145 tuf if they do bring these weightclasses into the ufc, which they should bc theyve been running out of main events. the little guys are just non stop action in every aspect of mma
Agreed, great idea. Absorb the WEC and get some newer guys in those weight classes. It would be the exact opposite of this season. Get Pulver as one of the coaches.

i would have possibly scored the 2nd round for junk, but i was biased in watching it bc i wanted mitrione to lose. still, i would have scored it first round 10 8 mitrione 2nd 10 9 junk. possibly 10 10. ill give him rnd 2 bc of the td
but how can cecil ppls say leg kicks do no damage so they dont count, but he gave the round to the guy that just let his arms hang limp and swung them by turning his body? i think shoguns leg kicks may have done more damage. at least junks punches, although very fatigued, were still punches
