I don't think the costume thing is good for the sport.
I thought it was cool, so everyone I was watching it with (who aren't really fans) thought it was awesome...
I was trying to introduce the UFC to some newbies (big sports fans). They all started laughing and comparing it to the WWE.
Oh well.
I love peoples' opinions on what's good and what's bad for the sport.

stupid threads like this are bad for the sport..the guy had a following excited to see his debut...he wanted to entertain alittle bit...and than he went and kicked some ass...i liked his entrance and i like the fact that he won by submission and than told tito that he would knock him out...the guy has the qualities to become a star in the UFC...skills, personality, creativity..some people find the littlest things to complain about.
I thought it was great. Several of my non-mma friends which are now becoming fans thought it was great.
