Lee Murray would have smashed Tito on street.

Because at the time he would have most likely beat Tito in the cage. Murray only lost to Joe Doerkson and Anderson Silva. Doerkson has fought everyone and beat a lot of big names in his career and Silva is Silva. Tito was losing to guys like Guy Mezger who if u look at his career never beat any really substantial guys but Tito. Plus Murray would have had a lot more street fighting growing up on the streets of London then Tito did growing up as a stand out wrestler. There, riddle finally solved.

Would have been a good fight Phone Post

I say let Murray out for a 1 off street fight with Tito, then he can go back to jail.

Tito would have smashed him. There's a huge difference between catching someone off-guard on the street when you've heavy hands, and competing in MMA.

Tito would have taken Murray down, and GNP'd him out in the first round. Lee Murray is one of the most overrated fighters in the history of MMA. Who exactly did he beat? Jorge Rivera? Pele? Christ, Daijiro Matsui had beat Pele before Murray and was on a 3 fight losing streak.

His career was just starting, the only fighter out there that has taken a huge fight before his tenth fight is Todd Duffee anyways. The rest of the guys dont see better guys until there 10th or so fight because that is just the way things work but Murray ran into a then relative unknown named Anderson Silva and went 5 rounds with him and you know what Anderson did/does to people.

On the street maybe but in the cage Tito would have taken him down and smashed him with elbows.

lol

Murray went three rounds with Anderson not five,

To the OP Guy Mezger may not have the most impressive looking resume on paper (or when you checked it on Sherdog) but he was tough well rounded fighter for the time who fought the best of his era and was rarely finished. He was also shafted multiple times while fighting in PRIDE with some of the most ridiculous judges decisions I have ever seen.

He arguably beat Arona and several others only to come out on the "losing" side he was a very solid fighter and certainly a good win to have on your record.

But back on course Murray was a tough guy and would have likely been a formidable force in MMA had he stuck with it and not taken the path he did, he was for sure the best prospect to ever come out of the UK and would smash Bisping six ways from sunday.

 The OP speaks the truth.

Even in Titos version of their street fight he was knocked down but says he was still concious.

Pat Militech said Lee Murray was stamping on Titos head but given how big Titos head is I doubt he noticed, probably thought it was raining.  (does fighter bashing count if its Tito?)

Murray sucker punched him, no respect for that.. That being said in a cage Tito takes it with GNP

Dress shoes brah

Wasnt Tito meant to have thrown the first punch but missed?

Pretty sure Matt Hughes' book explains how lee ducked titos punches and came back with a solid combo that knocked him out. Phone Post

SHUDDUUUUUP ! Murray lost to Dorkson....after you typed that you should have deleted your post.

Tito lost to Mezger when he was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay green and didn't know subs. And he was winning that fight and he DESTROYED Mezger in the rematch. Tito has never lost by sub since then and did quite well at ADCC, and almsot subbed Machida and would have beat Rashad if not for the point.

What would Murray do to rashad or Machida ? Nothing, just get owned, blasted, and thrown around all night.

As a matter of fact Guy Mezger would have toyed and BITCHED Lee Murray as well.

Tito woulda had Murray on his back faster then fast, and then G~n~P his face thru the canvas

Style wise its a bad match up for Murray
