Legal or not?

What? lol

See my above post. It’s intent, not effectiveness, that determines legality.

So I’m charged with a foul if I held out my fingers, even though they don’t touch your eye?

If I use a corked bat, but strike out, is that legal?

If I use a partially deflated football, but lose the game, is that legal?

If I take a swing at you after the bell, but miss, is that legal?

If I throw a knee at a grounded opponent, but miss, is that legal?

See how that works?

Did you get caught at any time doing that? Or is replay allowed?

Im just asking because you seem to know it all.

I would like to apologize because we could be potentially arguing different sides of the same arguement.

It is is considered illegal but by the letter of the law; if the ref doesn’t call it, it is not illegal.

Looked to me it connected in the upswing and there should be no doubt it connected on the way down. All around illegal. But the ref didn't call it so that's the end of it. No replay.

Stephens was gonna smash him out either way.

deezlemike - Stephens was gonna smash him out either way.

That might be true but if Emmett would have landed a knee after he knocked Stephens down then everyone would have said Stephens was done anyway. We seen that to be not true.

He is not on his left knee. He is on his foot. Does that matter? Only 1 knee and 1 hand at the time.

You seem so sure of yourself. That’s what’s most funny.

It connected. 4 sure.

No, it didn't.

His head moves to our left, Emmetts right on the initial contact. Then hits Emmett's head again on the way down

JOESONDO -

It was clearly illegal, even under the new rules. You can't knee someone that is on both knees and one hand.

Look at Emmets left knee though, it looked like it was off the ground when the knee landed…

it wasn’t Stephens knee that hit Emmets it was his shin…

If you can slug someone in the head while they're down, why can't you knee the person in the head?

Serious question.

This…One of Emmets knees was up when the shin connected so it’s not illegal…

What about if someone aims for the head but hits the body, is that illegal?

But knees on grounded opponent are legal to certain parts of body. Not saying this was a legal shot but your comment is stupid
