He still competes in the gi, although on a sporatic basis in super fights in japan. And obviously he still has the desire to compete at a high level ($) with the abu dhabi. Theres a lot of great completely new match ups for him with the gi also. I doubt he will since it appears after so many great performances at the mundials in the past that hes gonna get paid to compete (or win) and I cant knock him for that. I'd just personally like to see him do it.
And since Im just wishing I'll throw in that I'd like to see Margarida and Romulo with the gi as well.
He is too busy travelling, keeping CheckMat in order, and the most important his children. He has accomplished everything he has had to do. I don't think he needs to prove anything.

Romulo was Heavyweight champ adn Absolute runner up at the mundials this year, so he is still active.
I would love to see Margarida and Jacare back in the gi as well.

I agree with MT, and im with Sim on this, i'd like to see Leo compete in anything. Hell, i enjoy just watching footage of him roll on youtube.

Good point about Royler and Renzo staying out of MMA. Same with Carlson and Relson in their respective eras. And any Gracie is not exactly typical in comparison to the sport as a whole with regard to their ability to make a living off of pure BJJ/GJJ.
