Lesnar haters and logic- Like oil and water

Lesnar haters seem to have a disconnect with logic and reality.

1st- Disrespect for Lesnar because of size. Wasn't Gabe bigger than Randy and Tim was much larger but since Randy beat those two I guess their size advantage didn't matter as much as Lesnars

2nd- All this respect for Carwin. No doubt he is tough but no where near the wrestling credentials and as far as more MMA experience ask yourself if you would become a better hitter is you faced double A pitchers as oppose to major league pitchers. Lesnar has more MMA experience based on who he has fought where he has fought them and also the fact that he headlined or co-headlined all 3 of the cards he was on.

3rd- Only 3 MMA fights and gets a title fight. He beat Randy Couture!!! A guy 75% of you folks and 80% of the real MMA fighter thought he would lose to including Bas, Chuck, Wanderlei and Ken FLo. Not only did he beat him but he beat him down in less than 2 rounds. Randy was wobbled on more than one occasion and Lesnar was never in danger at any part of that fight

4th-Steroids- Never failed a test in his life.

It would be cool to see logic out of some of you guys and when you write an anti Lesnar thread to actually be able to back it up.

Where are all the haters when it comes to defending themselves? I think it is because because they can't.

55 lb weight advantage is no big deal

 :::yawn:::

I agree. I thought Randy would be able to survive the early rounds to take out the match. But I always knew that Brock was a danger and a big one at that.

I also think people knocking him for being big is stupid. He's a heavyweight in the heavyweight division. A division Randy chose to fight in. Brock cuts weight to make the division to make the most of his size, the same thing Couture (and many many others) do in the other divisions. So why suddenly is it an issue at all?

Brock showed more than size, he showed great wrestling (which we expected) good strong tight standup. He showed more control and is definitely and improving fighter.

Thank you

I like Lesnar for several reasons, and I don't watch wrestling.

1. World class skills. You don't have only 5 losses in Div 1 wrestling by being a scrub. The guy was dominant...no shame in losing by 1 point to Stephen Neal. I don't see anyone being able to stay on their feet against him.

2. Attitude. He got out big $$$$ because he felt stupid doing the fake WWE crap, and still wanted to compete in something. He trains his ass off, has fought top guys, and improves rapidly. I like how they sequestered themselves in a warehouse to train for this fight. It shows he's hungry. He trains w/ experienced well rounded guys, and knows what he needs to work on.

3. The speed, power, and agility is just scary. NFL guys are considered the best athletes, but they don't have fighting skills typically. Brock obviously does. The only other legit HW wrestler was Erickson, and nobody even wanted to fight him during his prime. Coleman, Randleman and Kerr weren't really HW's. 177 and 190 in college.

We'll see how Velasquez and Carwin look. I think it will eventually be Velasquez vs. Lesnar for the belt at some point.

Yeah, Nog may beat him.... but be realistic. Brock's had 4 fights all on big cards. Anyone who's ever been in the ring knows that your 1st few times in there.... you're nervous. I don't care how tough you are or how good you are. Adrenaline and nerves make sticking to a game plan awfully tough. I'd say he's done a pretty good job so far.

Also- I just haven't seen much footage on Cain, but the insiders say he just wrecks EVERYONE in training. I just hardly know anything about him. But, if he was stuck in the spotlight right away and Brock was fighting on the undercards.... I'm sure Brock would be undefeated too.

Don't forget "he can't take a punch"...oh wait, that turned out to be bullshit.
Oh, and who gives a shit if he got a title shot in his 3rd fight. I distinctly remember BJ getting one in his 4th pro fight, and either way, Brock WON, so it doesn't matter.
He cuts weight to make HW, I mean, who cares? Anderson cuts from 225 to get to MW! Thiago is the biggest WW in all of MMA, as he weighs as much as Wandy! LOL. It's not Brock's fault that the weight class he fights at has a huge gap to the next one below.
Anyway, he'll never shake the pro wrestling stigma, that's just how it is. It's only because it was WWE though. If you do Japanese pro wrestling, then that's perfectly fine, just no WWE, or you're automatically a "pussy" and lose all credibility you worked for as a real athlete. Whether it's an NCAA title, or a medal in the Olympic games, your accomplishments get erased as soon as you do pro wrestling, lol. Anyway. I just always thought it was funny how much shit he got, not just from MMA fans, but from some fighters like Herring, who did pro wrestling himself!

Couture agreed to the fight, he lost. Get over it. Frate Trane rolled over Randy.

no i agree, thats what im saying, big deal 55 lbs isnt shit

TTT

Brock should have worn a mask and had 2 fake brocks-one on each side, accompany him to the ring.

SleepingTalon - Anderson cuts from 225 to get to MW!
