Lesnar's The Favorite??????

Herring @ +180

Seems like a good bet to me

Brock Lesnar (-260) vs. Heath Herring (+210)

Now that you've said that, I've got Heath by submission.

 LOL. Me too.

I also believe Heath is more motivated nowadays with his somewhat success in the Nog fight & the pay fighters are getting nowadays

He's one of the top 50-100 HW wrestlers in the world and he has one MMA win--how could he not be the favorite?

CRE< COLE - If you happen to be sittin in the 3rd row, heads up, because that's where Heath Herring is going to be.

"I also believe Heath is more motivated nowadays with his somewhat success in the Nog fight & the pay fighters are getting nowadays"

That's great, but Lesnar is going to hit him so hard, so violently, that all those shots Fedor hit him with will look like feathering powder puffs.

3rd Row? I dont even know if I can gather a $100 to put on Herring

Odds quickly shift to Lesnar being the dog

^ ya and Lesner was tapped in what 2 minutes

Sucks you can't knee to the head when on the ground. That was one of Herrings biggest weapons imo.

Lesnar's doing all the right things to be successful in this fight and in MMA in general.  The quest is whether he did enough to control herring and finish him on the ground (O'Brien control + great damage = win vs. Herring).  I think Herring has a much better shot if he keeps it standing somehow.  Course we haven't seen much of Brock's standup so he might actually be decent at it by now.  This fight should answer a lot of questions about him.

so yeah.

In his last fight, herring got taken down and mounted by Kongo.

Kongo is the worst grappler in MMA.

I'll take Lesnar for 1000, Alex.

When will people learn that lines are set to get the most action on both sides, NOT based on who is truly better?

"For some reason people seem to forget that Herring was once one of the best in the sport. And while he may have lost a lil something"

He was one of the best because there was nobody good at the time. He hasn't lost anything, he is just now fighting in a time with better, more well-rounded opponents. At his peak the 255lb Herring got tooled by Belfort who is now at 185.

With the amount of muscle mass on Lesnar can he even be competitive for 3 rounds????

lesnar appeared to have great cardio training on that ufc tv show

Herring was one of the best at one time, but his game hasn't changed since then. If anything, it's gotten worse with the lack of knees on the ground and people noting how he telegraphs his right leg.
In the Pride days we saw him surving an initial storm from wrestlers (usually just by hanging on) and then rallying late in a fight. Problem is, most of those wrestlers were stallers and just hung out in guard all night. Lesnar knows how to pass and he can do huge damage from almost any top position.
These days we've seen guys like Kongo and O'Brien mounting him and making him look like he's never been on the mat before. Did I mention he's NEVER tapped anyone from his back before? He's never really even put anyone in danger.
I'll be pulling for Herring, but I think Brock's going to maul him. Unless Brock gasses inside 3 minutes, he's going to win...and likely via a "quick" stoppage from the ref.

one thing herring definitely has that we are not sure about lesnar is heart. herring never gives up. the guy could lose every round and still come out ready to kill.

max power -  lesnar appeared to have great cardio training on that ufc tv show

We see what they want us to see

anyone who doubts lesnar should just watch the mir fight again and see how close it was to being over

Heath Herring has not subbed anyone in 5 years.

That sub from five years ago was giant silva.

Heath will get taken down. If you think that he's a legit threat to sub Lesnar, ahahahahahahahaha.
