Because Brock has so much $$$ stashed away from WWE days, the guy can afford to train full time and bring in the best to train him. In comparison a lot of the other guys are kind of training half time as they have to make some $$ to pay the bills. I'd say in comparison Brock's training experience is a lot more in a given year than other guys. I know that Carwin has a full time engineering job for example. He's got a lot more gym time than typical 2-3 years people quote.
True, but at the same time different people learn at different rates, so it might be all good in the end.
I mean, it seriously boggles my mind how someone like BJ Penn or Frank Mir can get their freakin' black belts in BJJ in three years. That's some crazy shit.
So, to them, a year's worth of training (at one time) represented three years of training for someone else!
